Chicken Fried Steak - The Explorer Way


Kansas Explorers love to find a chicken fried steak prepared the Explorer Way:

1)  Fresh meat
2)  Hand breaded
3)  Grill or pan fried

Of course, real mashed potatoes and made-from-scratch gravy are the ultimate bonus.

Click here, then find Chicken Fried Steak in the drop-down list, then hit view to see a list of restaurants that meet the three-point criteria.  If you find another restaurant that should be added to this list, contact marci@kansassampler.org.

The hardest criteria to meet is #3.  Lots of places do the first two and then put the steak in the deep-fat fryer.  If they dip it in the fryer and then put it on the grill or in the pan, we'll count it!
