Our main goal is to provide information that will make you want to
jump in your car and head down Kansas roads.
Three important keys will almost always insure success when visiting a
Kansas community: 1) visiting with the locals, 2) not judging a town, and
3) being curious. These keys will unlock unexpected adventures!
Take time to eat in the cafes, shop in the locally-owned stores, and look around town for nuances of architecture, art, commerce, cuisine, customs, geography, history, and people. Simply, enjoy -- and appreciate -- a town as it is!
Maybe some of you aren't able to go on a road trip so we hope you
enjoy reading the fun tidbits in the newsletter!
We currently have 1,400 members and our goal is 5,000!
The purpose of the Kansas Explorers Club is to inspire, educate, and encourage the exploration and appreciation of Kansas...and have fun doing it.
How would you like your Explorer Quest to be searching for the best coconut pie, hunting for old-fashioned hardware stores or soda fountains, and checking out the highest point in the state
and historic churches?
It's a tough challenge but Explorers are a hardy group.
