BKRT Blogger Workshop

Thursday, May 2
9 a.m. MT / 10 a.m. CT (Goodland is on Mountain Time)
Carnegie Arts Center
120 W. 12th, Goodland

Midwest Bloggers Melody Pittman and Sara Broers will join us to talk about the promotional ability of blogging and which social media avenues they think are most effective to market tourism attractions.  Marci and WenDee will present an overview of BKRT attractions and Explorer Tourism concepts.  This educational section of the workshop we'll last approximately an hour.  You'll thenl be on your own to put Explorer Tourism into practice as you explore the BKRT counties.  To complete the workshop, attendees are asked to respond to several questions via e-mail.

We'll start the fun at 4:30 p.m. MT/5:30 p.m. CT with a Wednesday night mixer at Terra Bona Hawai’ian shaved ice and Olde Westport Spice for a tour of the spice factory followed by a light meal.  Then, we’re all invited to Donna Price’s backyard for cold drinks.  And, after that?  Bring your lawn chairs and we'll go sit with Gary on the sidewalk in front of his main street liquor store and laundromat and watch the cars go by.  Do what the locals do!
